Service Opportunities

We welcome Christian professionals to join us for short-term (under 1 month), intermediate term (below 1 year) or longterm (1 year above). The location will depend on your profession and preference, it could be in urban cities or rural counties. For intermediate and longterm, some Chinese language ability is required or you may consider learning Mandarin and culture.

• Elderly Care (social work, rehabilitation- PT/OT/ST, medical, nursing)
• Children and Youth Special Needs Rehabilitation (ASD) – (social work, rehabilitation- PT/OT/ST, medical, nursing)
• Mental Health rehabilitation – adult and pediatric mental health workers
• Training local hospital workers: various medical specialties, rehabilitation
• Medical student rotation (4-12 weeks): limited number of spots, May-October preferred
• Rural Community health: village health, nutrition, hygiene
• Facilitate and develop new medical initiative with County Hospital: various medical specialties; experience working with pediatric HIV would be a plus
• Organize & coordinate specialized medical/nursing training
• Direct patient care: various medical specialties
• Palliative Care: training local workers
• Other needs: preschool teachers, community development, administrators
