MSI AND ME

It has been about twenty four years since I first joined MSI. It feels like time has slipped by almost unnoticed. When I first joined, the accounting department had three workers, including myself. Because I had young children and a family to take care of, I chose towork part-time. My supervisor also worked part-time, and our third colleague was noneother than Mrs Taylor.

On a visit to the bank with Mrs Taylor, she gave me the impression of being astute and clever, with sharp eyes and quick hands. She was very organised in her work. As time passed, I have seen many people join the team, heading into the mainland to serve. They come from different countries, have different professional backgrounds, are of different ages, and some even bring their infant children with them to serve. They go, unafraid of hardship, to serve in remote places, all for the sake of bringing the love of Christ to the local people. This touches me deeply and I have great admiration for them.

Throughout the years, we have faced many different challenges, yet the Lord’s grace has been sufficient, leading us to walk through each, one a step at a time. Thanks be to God!
