“I’ve got a job!” Within an hour, I heard Lucy repeat this loudly and excitedly more than three times. One could palpably feel her joy and pride. Her mother sat beside her smiling contentedly.

Inside Lucy’s twenty-year-old body lives a twelve-year-old girl. This is her first job carrying out cleaning work for a coffee shop. Although she works just two hours per day, three days a week, she greatly treasures the wages she receives in her WeChat wallet. She earned over four hundred yuan in two months! “Lucy, you are rich!” And she happily responded, “Oh yes!”

Through this project, begun in 2023, we aim to help find jobs for special needs people, and gradually dispel the myth that such people cannot work! Although the general perception was not very positive, we give thanks that our Heavenly Father has paved the way. In the near future, we will be collaborating with a local enterprise, which is a great source of encouragement to our team and partners!
