HE IS IN CONTROL

We are thankful for the successful completion of the July Summer Camp for the students from our School Assistance Project.

Fifteen sponsored students and two graduates participated in this year’s camp. Through group games and different activities, they learnt about self-awareness, communication and interpersonal relationships, as well as values and career planning. Not only did the students enjoy the activities, the local Director of Education also participated fully by exhorting and encouraging the students. Unlike previous years, our guests included several government officials, who actively conducted studies and surveys among our volunteers and students, and gained an in-depth understanding about the content of our activities.

Although the officials’ earnest work attitude initially created some psychological pressure for our volunteers, we were happy to see that their focused attention did not bring the summer camp to a halt. Instead we earned their tacit approval and blessings. This also validated the legitimacy of our activities.

Throughout the summer camp, we truly experienced how God was in control of the entire process. He carefully guarded our words and deeds, and watched over our coming in and our going out. Absolutely nothing can compete with His power and authority!
